The History of Lomanco

A Family Owned Business Since 1946

Lomanco founder Clark David Belden was a very unique man. Known for spending hours tinkering with new ideas, he invented several products including a conduit cutter, the Min-O-Shield for fishermen, and what we know today as the Lomanco adjustable gable louver.
The adjustable gable louver was the product that launched the Dan-Dee Manufacturing Company in 1946, when a customer noted it was a “dan-dee” product. The company name soon became the Louver Manufacturing Company, and in 1976 it was shortened to the name we know today: Lomanco.
